LINEN is a human resources platform built for the companies that have outgrown spreadsheets but have no reason to carry enterprise HR software. It holds the people side of a business — who works here, how they were hired, how they are paid, and what the company is required to keep on file — in one system with one record per person.

The problem it addresses

Below a few hundred employees, HR is rarely one system. It is a payroll provider, a hiring inbox, a shared drive of signed documents, a time-off spreadsheet, and whoever happens to remember the details. Nothing reconciles, and the cost of that shows up as duplicated data entry, missed compliance deadlines, and onboarding that depends on one person being available.

What LINEN handles

• People records. One profile per person, from offer through departure, carrying role, compensation history, documents and reporting line.
• Hiring. Roles, applicants and interview stages, with an applicant's record becoming their employee record on the day they sign.
• Payroll and benefits. Pay runs, changes and enrolments working from the same records the rest of the platform reads.
• Time off. Accrual, requests and approvals, visible to the person, their manager and payroll at once.
• Compliance and documents. The filings, agreements and retention a company is obliged to keep, with the dates attached to them.

Where it stands

LINEN is in active development. Early access is being opened by enquiry rather than through a public sign-up, so that the first cohort can be onboarded directly.
